progress through the admissions process. If you

In the Academic Support Center (Building 2)

Admissions Advisor

Make an appointment for an evaluation.
Discuss available majors   courses to be taken.
Determine who would be your academic advisor
     for the chosen program of study.

Career Services

Talk with the Career Advisor and explore the
     CareerScope for interests and aptitudes.

Disabled Student Services

Talk with a Disabled Student Representative

     (if needed).

Admissions

Fill out admissions paperwork:
  • Application (degree seeking or non-degree seeking)
  • Transcripts Requests
  • Residency considerations
  • Immunization paperwork

Obtain maps/directions for FWB and other
     campuses/centers.

Veterans Affairs

See Veterans Affairs advisors.
  • Grants, scholarships, loans, veterans affairs,
    tuition assistance.

Student Government Association (SGA)

Explore Student Government Association (SGA)
     opportunities/services.

Access the UWF website

Monitor your admission progress through Lighthouse.

UWF TRANSFER STUDENTS

We hope this new admissions checklist will serve
as a helpful tool as you start on your path to a UWF
degree. The checklist is designed to familiarize you
with the UWF-FWB campus and all the programs and
services available to students.

Visit Academic Support Center (Building 2)


Make an appointment with your academic advisor to
       remove advising HOLDs so you can register.

Familiarize yourself with your degree plan (SASS).

Choose courses and plan your registration for the
      upcoming semester.

Register for courses and get fee schedule.

Set up student email account through Argonet

Check with Veterans Affair advisor
      (if needed).

Get books from bookstore.

Check out Career Services and JasonQuest.

Meet with a Disabled Student Services Rep.
      (if needed).

Familiarize yourself with the Testing and
      Assessment Center.

Visit Administration (Building 1)

See Cashier, Beware of deadlines or late fees.

See Margaret, For Financial Aid Resources.

Apply for a short term or tuition loan (if needed).

Obtain parking decal.

Obtain Nautilus card (needed for main campus
       library).

Visit Library (Building 8)

Check out days and times of operation.

Activate your Nautilus card.

Register for library use workshops.

Visit Computer Lab (Building 7)

Check out days and times of operation.

Familiarize yourself with the printing procedures.


Visit Classrooms/Faculty (Buildings 3 and 3)
