
Built in 1991, The Center for Fine & Performing Arts (CFPA) at the University of West Florida is home to the Departments of Art, Music and Theatre. In addition to showcasing the work of UWF students; the CFPA in conjunction with the three departments bring in Artists from across the world for the enjoyment and artistic development of UWF’s student body as well as the Northwest Florida community.

In addition, the CFPA plays host to various on-campus and community arts organizations, with performances in Music, Dance, Theatre, and Opera.
The CFPA consists of three performance spaces, the Mainstage Theatre which seats 442, the Music Hall seating 309 and the Studio Theatre, an adjustable black box space that has variable seating capacity. In addition, the facility contains an approximately 1500 sq. ft. Art Gallery.
