The Art Gallery will feature 10 exhibitions throughout the season including an Art Alumni Invitational celebrating UWF’s 40th Anniversary. The Exhibition will run September 7th – 28th and will feature works from over 40 graduates of the Department of Art stretching back to the mid-1970’s. Also make sure you check our Genius Loci Series as well as our special Meet the Artist Patron Preview parties throughout the year.
The Music Department will present over 35 one-night only concerts throughout the season, including 4 Music Hall Artist Series Concerts which feature professional artists from around the country. In addition, each of the music ensembles present 1-2 concerts per year.
The 2007-2008 Theatre Department season expands to five shows. Fall semester includes the Tony-nominated musical Once On This Island followed by the Greek classic Antigone. The holiday’s will bring a new adaptation of A Christmas Carol with special Thom Gossom in the role of Scrooge. Spring semester will showcase House of Bernarda Alba by Federico Lorca and the Broadway classic musical Guys and Dolls.
